Holly is a proud parent of a DaVinci Academy student and chose the school for its strong reputation and commitment to fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment. With nearly 20 years at the Weber County Library System, she currently serves as assistant library director and manages the organization’s flagship library in Ogden. Holly holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colorado, as well as a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver.
Holly has focused much of her career on working with diverse populations and promoting literacy, education, and equitable access to resources. She actively participates on multiple national committees focused on literacy, mentoring, and academic funding.
Holly began volunteering with DaVinci Academy through the Title I Committee and the Safety and Wellness Committee. As a member of the School Board, she is dedicated to supporting the school’s mission, administrators, faculty, and staff, and maintaining the strong foundation already established for current and future students.
I am excited to express my interest in joining the Board of Directors at DaVinci Academy. As a parent of children who are experiencing their first year at DaVinci, I have come to truly appreciate the exceptional education provided by the school, as well as its positive impact on the Ogden community. Ogden is a wonderful place to live, and DaVinci Academy stands out as a pillar of diversity and educational excellence.
What has impressed me the most during our time here is the richness of diversity in the classrooms. This uniqueness not only enriches the students' learning experiences but also fosters an inclusive environment where all students can thrive. I am eager to join the Board as part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring that DaVinci continues to offer outstanding educational outcomes and opportunities for every student.
My background in education, government, and non-profit sectors has given me valuable insights into the needs of students and families. These experiences have helped me understand how to balance the interests of stakeholders while driving forward innovation and effective decision-making. I believe I can contribute meaningfully to DaVinci’s financial, operational, and social well-being by bringing fresh perspectives, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to the school's mission.
Above all, I am eager to give back to the community and help DaVinci Academy continue to flourish. I am excited about the opportunity to serve on the Board and support the ongoing success of this remarkable institution.
With my background as a CPA and a Vice President at Ogden-based TAB Bank, I believe I can make a positive impact on the Board of Directors at DaVinci.
My experience in financial analysis and project management will allow me to assist DaVinci in allocating resources effectively. This is my daughter Brynlee's third year at DaVinci and I want to help ensure that the school continues to provide great educational outcomes for our kids. Go Dragons!
I was born and raised in Colorado and earned my bachelor's degree from Colorado State University where I double-majored in full-stack wed development. Upon completing the six-month certificate program, I was offered a position as a front-end software engineer at a healthcare company in Denver where I honed my web development skills for two years before leaving Colorado for Utah. I recently accepted a part-time position with Weill Cornell Medicine in the Faculty Affairs is department and will start work with them at the end of February.
Since moving to Utah in 2017, I have been a stay-at-home parent and have volunteered with DaVinci as a chaperone for many elementary field trips and recently helped with 3rd and 4th grad music/theater rehearsals. I also currently volunteer with the Ogden Concert Band, where I play clarinet and deserve as the band's webmaster.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve on the DaVinci Academy board and work alongside other members to support student, teachers, and the school community. I believe in making thoughtful evidence-based decisions to help DaVinci continue to grow and thrive. It would be an honor to contribute to the school in this way. Go Dragons!
I am a 30+ year resident of Ogden and I have worked in higher education for 25+ years. My husband and I have three grown sons and two grandsons. My sons experienced a variety of secondary education options in Ogden, so I feel like I have a breadth of experience that can support and inform my position on the DaVinci Academy Board.
I am a lifelong resident of Ogden and a proud graduate of both George Washington High School and Ogden-Weber Technical College. I currently serve as the Director of Health Programs at Ogden-Weber Technical College. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication with an emphasis in Training and Development from Weber State University, as well as a Master of Education in Instructional Design from Western Governors University. In my current role, I have the opportunity to connect with students, programs, and local employers. I work every day to create opportunities that help others succeed.
My commitment to education is deeply personal. I’ve seen firsthand how access to technical education can open doors and change lives. I am dedicated to supporting the work of high school counselors and CTE coordinators who help students navigate their individual paths, whether that leads to technical education, higher education, or both.
Kelli Pendleton is an outdoor enthusiast who recently returned home to Utah. She works in Economic Development for Ogden, helping companies expand and grow. Previous positions include President/CEO of the Campbell Strong Defense Alliance and President/CEO of the Christian County Chamber of Commerce in Kentucky. In these roles, she has worked closely with multiple school boards, supported education programs, and workforce initiatives. Prior to that, she was a broadcast news journalist for multiple news stations.
Kelli was also appointed as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Kentucky and currently serves on the Kentucky Governor's Commission on Military Affairs.
Kelli is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Mass Communications/Journalism.
Outside of work, Kelli loves spending time hiking in the mountains, supporting animal and veteran non-profit groups, and being with her daughter, Avery, who is a freshman at Davinci, and her husband, Michael.
I grew up in an Air Force family and moved to Utah in 2011 when my dad was stationed at Hill AFB. I have moved in and out of Utah a few times since then, but always seem to return back to the Ogden area. My husband, son, and I love exploring the parks and trails around Ogden, and spend many of our summer weekends in the Uinta Mountains.
I am currently a K-2 math teacher for a virtual charter school and a grading assistant for Weber State's Teacher Education program. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been a licensed teacher since 2017, and an educator within Utah Charter Schools since 2021.
During my time as a Utah Charter School teacher, I have been a grade level team lead and K-2 math lead, a faculty member on the Land Trust Committee and Accreditation Team, and run Girls Who Code, VEX GO Robotics, VEX IQ Robotics, and Yearbook clubs. My teaching experience includes traditional and virtual settings. My goal in any setting is to provide a positive enriching learning experience, and build strong lasting relationships with students and families.
